  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.
  • Certified Beer Server or higher preferred. Must possess a current RABS (Responsible Alcohol Beverage Service) training certificate.
  • Must possess a Servsafe and/or San Diego County Food Handlers Managers Card.
  • Previous experience with Point of Sale systems is a must.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must have experience and knowledge of ABC laws for legal sale of alcohol. Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • At least 5 years of related experience and/or training in the food/beverage service and/or retail industry or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college preferred.
  • Willing to be a valuable Team Stone contributor who will practice open and respectful communication while assisting with identifying and driving process improvements.
  • Communicating with Director of Hospitality on all matters concerning the Stone Taproom.
  • Creating a motivational environment with open and effective communication, and setting expectations and ensure accountability monitoring individual performance and participating in appraisal process.
  • Building and maintaining a team that works well together through effective interviewing, hiring and staffing.
  • Achieving financial objectives through analyzing sales, forecasting, investigating and taking action upon variances and meeting sales targets.
  • Properly and accurately storing, stocking, cycle counting and inventorying items in Taproom.
  • Performing opening/closing register duties, cash handling and accurately operating the POS system for sales of food, beer and merchandise.
  • Responsible for day-to-day supervision/presentation of Stone Taproom, maintaining visual, merchandising and cleanliness standards.

  • Assisting in the growth of sales to increase profit maximizing sales potential through behavioral coaching of team and managing all controllable expenses (including but not limited only to labor and spillage).
  • Ensuring that all activity taking place in the Taproom is handled with a sense of urgency and with the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
